They run small and have a very tight wrist loop. I specifically did not purchase the upscale GP gloves because of complaints about the wrist area.It is work to get these gloves on and off and they are quite stiff.Granted my previous gloves were 14 year old full racing gauntlet kangaroo skin and were VERY comfortable. That being said, the construction quality & protection seem decent.I'm hoping that after a few more rides they will loosen up a bit, but they are snug enough to almost be uncomfortable. I probably should have sent them back after first trying them on, but it's too late now. These gloves were about half the price of the Dainese & Helds I was considering; I guess you get what you pay for.leather panels were fraying at the seams in the palm and armor was hideously gashed from "any" contact with an abrasive surface. Maybe I got a counterfeit pair? I expect better from Alpinestar and I'm surprised to find that their GP gear is just as frail (if not more so) than street/touring gear. Frankly, I feel like the price tag is obnoxious given that the only real benefit we're seeing here is a sturdy wrist guard.
