I only gave these pants 3 starts because the sizing is too small. I usually wear a medium. I wish I had read other Sugoi product reviews. I have never worn Sugoi before. As I read through other pants styles, they all said that Sugoi run small. Although they where too small for me I gave them to a friend and she loves them. Nice and warm and she said the padding was the best she has ever had. Please note, if you like a higher pant on the your waist line these are not for you. They sit very low.My wife wanted to extend her riding season so we looked into some fall/winter tights. She has some Sugoi shorts that fit her well so we went with same brand. The design is a bit different but they fit her well. It's been too cold (-3 to 7 F) for her to try them out but hoping to this week as weather warms a bit.I ordered Xs. At first I thought its size is smaller than other brands.But it fits well and the pad is comfortable.I fell down from riding but this pants saved my legs. Its little thick. It might be good for a little chilly weather.I am very happy with the fit of these tights, Although it hasn't dropped into temperatures that are cold enough to wear them yet I am very excited to have my first pair of winter tights so I can continue riding in the colder days.These pants are an great fit. The padding is very comfortable for long distance bike riding. I would buy another pair. This morning I went for a bike ride in Australia wearing them, the temperature was 6oC. PerfectThese tights are very warm in 30 F. degree temperatures. Also they are comfortable, not bulky or binding. Nice padding too.These were a little snug and of course, I heard Sugoi runs small after I ordered them. They're pretty good lengthwise and they are well-lined to keep you very toasty on cool days.I was concerned buying tights on line as I have trouble finding female bike clothing that fits me so I bought a size up for ny thighs and w the waistline adjustments they are great just need cold weather :-D
